Project 2 Mile  is an initiative that we set up in July 2020 to help marginalized women who live in the squatter settlements of Port Moresby, the capital city of Papua New Guinea (PNG).

We provide acrylic and wool yarn from Australia and they weave them into colourful multi-patterned bilums.

Our aim is to empower women and their families who live in the squatter settlements to have access to their day-to-day needs.

The project started with 11 weavers but it now has a total of over 100 weavers.

Thank you for your continuous support. Together we are making a positive impact to so many women and the families that they are part of.

Warm regards,

Maggie
